Have you started receiving numbers like this 352-000-9876, ? And they ask you about lowering your interest rate, etc.. Notice the three zero?s and where they are located?
Well, I too have started receiving them... I found out that what you see on your caller ID are spoofed numbers (fake generated phone numbers)...Everyone should call the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). This will get the Federal Gov involved. 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357)? The more people complain to the Fed Gov, the more serious it will be received!

The calls from this number are so frequent and extremely annoying. How can they be stopped? Help!

We have been dealing with these annoying calls as well. I tried to get information from them as to what company they represent, they hung up. Another time I asked to speak to a supervisor, again they hung up. We have asked them to remove our number from their call list but that hasn't worked either. The same calls come from different locations, Florida, Maryland & Virginia. Hope someone can trace these people down and put a stop to these illegal solicitations. We registered our number on the National "Do Not Call List" but they still call, at least two of three calls a week.

Computer recording said it wanted to lower my interest rate on my credit cars, press 9 to talk to someone, so I did, asked who they were he says we are account services from Visa and Mastercharge, claimed he worked for the company, then says you pressed 9 to lower your rates, and wanted to verify my personal info, instead I told him, interesting you want to lower rates on cards I don't have, plus I'm on the do not call list at which point the line went dead. Looked up the number because it looked phoney, 352-000-9876 yeah right, which is how I got here to post this.
