Well, I too have started receiving them... I found out that what you see on your caller ID are spoofed numbers (fake generated phone numbers)...Everyone should call the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). This will get the Federal Gov involved. 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357)? The more people complain to the Fed Gov, the more serious it will be received!

Called home land line. A lot of noise in background and no one responded. Dial back number answered and said it was a cell phone and they were in California and the number was dialed from pocket accidentally. On checking, the number is not a cell number but a land line.

The phone # 201-918-3018 has been calling my cell phone several times each day since 6/6/09. No one ever leaves a message and when I finally answered last night there was no one on the other end. I also have tried calling it back and get an automated message saying ?Thank for you calling the customer service dept. It then gives me one of 2 choices; either to be connected to a customer service rep which ends up leading nowhere because of there "high call volume" and the other choice is to be put on their do not call list which I have done twice and that has not worked because I am still getting called repeatedly. I decided to Google the # which leads to a lot of information about people also having the same problems with phone #. I recommend you do a search on Google with that # just to read what people are saying. I then called AT&T and reported this problem and # to them.
